The Olympics

For the 2012 and 1016 Summer Olympic games I was head of production the Olympic Broadcast System’s complete set of info graphic animations.

The graphics package is offered to broadcasters around the world to provide a comprehensive guide to every sport featured at the event. These include animations of the sports equipment used, the fields of play, how medals are awarded, the history of each sport and for team sports, how those teams are made up.

We 3D modelled every piece of sports equipment used in the Olympics along with every court, pool, diving board and rowing boat. A complete package of hundreds of animations made up the kit which was designed to be used across several Olympic events.
