Nordic Entertainment Group asked us to help them create the Christmas branding for their TV3 channel. The concept they wanted to bring to life was a Christmas bauble factory operated by a cheeky group of Christmas gnomes (or ‘Nisse’ as they are known in Scandinavia).
We built an authentically festive 3D world that housed both the factory and the hard working (or not so hard working…) gnomes. To achieve the stop motion animation effect the final renders were completed at 12 frames per second with realistic exposure variations frame to frame. The result is a charmingly festive ident that’s full of Christmas cheer and festive fun.
